JSK worked and still working with various Departments and Ministries of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Bank, Local Government and Dhaka City Corporation. It has a strong network both at local & national level.

JSK adopts need based bottom up planning and strategies contributing to the need of extreme poor children, women and men. The remote and the under privileged, flood prone and the coastal belt, vulnerable and backward areas of Bangladesh are mostly preferred as working area of Jano Seba Kendra. Apart from Noakhali, Laxmipur and Feni, the organization extended its program activities to the districts of Shariatpur, Chandpur, Rajbari Habigonj, Moulivibazar, Sylhet, Gaibandha, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Dhaka City Corporation.

There are many successful programs and projects accomplished by JSK during the last 20 years. One of the important projects is arsenic mitigation and water sanitation.

Experience on Disaster

JSK’s main work evolves from support to coastal, climate affected and disaster prone area. The majority beneficiaries of JSK are from hard to reach and disaster affected.

Aid for Children

JSK provided basic education for the hazardous child labor and street children to reduce child labor.

Up till now JSK has gathered vast long and mentionable experiences on education, water sanitation, women empowerment, disaster response, sexual reproductive health, human rights, training and agriculture, a forestation, good governance, food security, research, study and survey.
