For many of us, getting safe water is something we take for granted. But for thousands of forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals living in the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, access to safe water is an essential part of everyday life which is quite challenging.

As a part of WASH interventions, Jano Seba Kendra (JSK) has installed 225 deep tube wells across Camps 7, 9, 11, 14, 15 and 16, providing safe water to approximately 11,250 people every day.

Our responsibility does not end with installation. Water supply infrastructures need regular maintenance and urgent repair. Whenever a tube well stops functioning, our dedicated team instantly steps forward to identify and solve the problems through the repair task.

Behind every functioning tube well are people who depend on it for drinking, cooking, cleaning and maintaining their daily lives.

Safe water means health. Safe water means dignity. Safe water means hope.

JSK remains committed to keep these water facilities functional and accessible for the Rohingya communities we serve.

Because every drop matters, and every life matters.
