Everything You Need to Know About JSK

JANO SEBA KENDRA (JSK) is an accredited, non-governmental humanitarian organization operating under statutory clearance from the Government of Bangladesh. JSK holds official registration with the NGO Affairs Bureau Bangladesh (Reg. No. 1258), Prime Minister’s Office, as well as the Ministry of Social Welfare (Reg. No. Dha-06019). Our certified operations follow ISO 9001:2015 quality standards for humanitarian assistance.

You can independently verify JANO SEBA KENDRA (JSK) on the official Bangladesh Government NGO Affairs Bureau website at ngoab.gov.bd by searching Registration Number 1258 or organization name. We believe total transparency is non-negotiable for public trust.

Yes. JSK maintains a strict 100% Direct Relief Policy for public donations. All funds designated for emergency food, safe water tubewells, winter blankets, or patient medicine packs are allocated entirely to the program. Core administrative and overhead costs are independently funded by dedicated board patrons and institutional endowments.

Yes. In strict accordance with Quranic principles (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:177), JSK manages a segregated Zakat & Sadaqah Fund. Zakat proceeds are distributed exclusively in-kind (essential food provisions, medical relief, emergency shelter reconstruction) directly to verified destitute families, orphans, and disaster victims with zero administrative deductions.

Our technical teams conduct hydrological ground testing before drilling down 600 to 1,000+ feet into deep subterranean aquifers, entirely bypassing arsenic-contaminated surface strata. Each completed well is fitted with a reinforced concrete platform, heavy-duty pump mechanism, and undergoes laboratory water testing before being handed over to a dedicated village maintenance committee.

JSK prioritizes high-vulnerability geographies where mainstream public services are scarce. Key operational zones include: the isolated riverine chars of the Brahmaputra and Teesta (Kurigram, Gaibandha), the flood-prone haor wetland basins of Sunamganj, coastal cyclone corridors in Barishal and Bhola, and humanitarian safe water clusters in Camp 5, Cox's Bazar.

All JSK medical missions are led by registered MBBS and FCPS doctors accompanied by experienced paramedics. Pharmaceutical supplies (essential antibiotics, pediatrics, vitamins, maternal supplements) are procured directly from certified manufacturers to guarantee purity. Patients receive consultations, vital checks, and full prescription courses at absolutely zero cost.

We warmly welcome medical professionals, paramedics, logistics volunteers, and student field workers. You can register your interest via our Contact Form or email us directly at volunteers@janoseba.org. Volunteers receive formal certificates of humanitarian service.

Our Head Office is located at: House # 1, Road # 32/A, Sector #7, Uttara Model Town, Dhaka-1230, Bangladesh. Office hours are Sunday through Thursday from 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM. During sudden natural disasters (floods, cyclones), our emergency relief coordination hotline operates 24/7.

Yes. Donors who sponsor a deep tube well, medical camp, or village food convoy receive an official serialized NGOAB donation receipt, GPS coordinates of the installation, and high-resolution photographs documenting the completed project and community handover.
