Ramadan Food Program 2025 for Rohingya Refugees
Cox’s Bazar Rohingya Refugee Camps & Underprivileged Host Communities
February 25, 2025 – April 24, 2025
Providing nutritious Ramadan food parcels to 2,500 families in Cox’s Bazar.
Project Background & Operational Context
The Ramadan Food Program 2025 for Rohingya Refugees, executed by Jano Seba Kendra (JSK) from February 25, 2025, to April 24, 2025, supported vulnerable Rohingya refugees and underprivileged Bangladeshi communities during the holy month of Ramadan. The initiative provided essential food parcels containing dates (khorma), sugar, noodles (family pack), chickpeas, onions, mustard oil, garlic, and chili powder, ensuring families had sufficient resources to observe fasting and maintain proper nutrition. In 2025, the program reached 2,500 families, bringing relief, sustenance, and comfort to thousands of men, women, and children facing food insecurity. By addressing immediate nutritional needs, JSK strengthened community well-being and dignity during this spiritually significant period. Through the dedicated efforts of JSK’s team and the generous support of donors, the program alleviated hardship, enhanced resilience, and fostered hope among some of the most vulnerable populations in Cox’s Bazar and surrounding areas.
“The Ramadan package brought immense relief and happiness to our home, allowing us to break our fast with dignity and joy.”
