Distributing fresh sacrificial meat to 3,568 families across Cox’s Bazar.
Project Background & Operational Context
The Global Zabiha Udhiya/Qurbani Program 2025 (1446), executed by Jano Seba Kendra (JSK) with the generous support of Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD), USA, provided sacrificial meat to support vulnerable Rohingya refugees and underprivileged Bangladeshi families. During this program, 69 cows and 28 goats were distributed, ensuring that 3,568 families received fresh meat to observe the religious occasion with dignity and nourishment. The initiative not only addressed immediate nutritional needs but also fostered a sense of community, solidarity, and joy among beneficiaries during the festive period. By organizing and executing this program efficiently, JSK ensured equitable distribution while upholding proper hygiene and safety standards. With the dedicated efforts of JSK’s team and the generous support of HHRD, the program strengthened resilience, enhanced community well-being, and brought hope and comfort to thousands of families in Cox’s Bazar and surrounding areas.
